About Instagram Story Views

Instagram is built around photos, Reels and Stories and is one of the main channels for creators, shops and brands. Story Views count how often your Instagram content is opened, played or seen. They are a basic reach figure that creators and brands look at.

View counts are one of the first numbers people read on Instagram. A video or post with very few Story Views can seem not worth opening, while a higher count gives new content a stronger first impression.

Reach numbers do not replace watch time, engagement or a good topic. They are a starting signal, so the content itself still has to hold people’s attention once they arrive.

Higher counts can help a new piece of content look worth watching to people who find it. On this page you can see exactly what Mightylikes offers for Instagram Story Views: the price range, the available quantities and how an order works from start to finish.

New uploads

A new upload starts with an empty counter. A starting amount helps it look worth opening.

Promoted content

If you promote a post or video elsewhere, a visible count can support the first impression of visitors who click through.

Launch videos

Announcements and launch content are checked quickly by new visitors, so a visible count helps on day one.

Back catalogue

Older content with low numbers can be topped up so the whole profile looks consistent.
